Defined brief · Comparable evidence

Technical procurement begins with a written requirement

Where an industrial material or equipment requirement sits outside our principal portfolio, we can investigate credible supply routes against an agreed technical and commercial brief.

01 Define

We record the application, operating conditions, incumbent product or equipment, required performance, approvals, documentation, quantity, delivery point and timescale.

02 Investigate

The same written requirement is issued to selected manufacturers or supply routes. Material differences in test basis, scope, origin or commercial terms are identified rather than hidden.

03 Review

Technical data, representative quality documents, conformity position, warranty or service arrangements, export capability and commercial terms are reviewed.

We do not claim that a route is suitable before the available evidence has been assessed. Where a requirement cannot be matched responsibly, we will say so.

04 Propose

A commercial proposal sets out the defined scope, exclusions, quantity, delivery basis, lead time, payment terms and any required sample, inspection, trial or commissioning step.

Provide the brief you already have

A specification, data sheet, incumbent reference or description of the application is enough to begin an initial assessment.
